5-Acre Brush Fire Burning In San Dimas

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — About 150 firefighters Wednesday were battling a 5-acre brush fire in the San Gabriel Valley.

The three-alarm fire broke out in the 2100 block of Terrebonne Avenue, near the San Dimas Golf Course, around 4 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

The fire was burning uphill in steep terrain.

No evacuations have been ordered as the fire was burning away from residential areas.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

The LA Co. Fire Department was being assisted by air resources and the La Verne Fire Department.
