At all times sincere friends of freedom have been rare, and its triumphs have been due to minorities, that have prevailed by associating themselves with auxiliaries whose objects often differed from their own; and this association, which is always dangerous, has been sometimes disastrous, by giving to opponents just grounds of opposition, and by kindling dispute over the spoils in the hour of success.

      • That is a great theory would apply in United States and other countries – Still Religion in Jerusalem is Powerful and will stay united and strong. That is a critical key for Religious Institution to bring peace and its influence in Middle East!

Peace in Jerusalem might be attached to faith presence in the area, and also Church is more powerful in Jerusalem, that’s one of the reason Israel has an obligation towards churches.
